Ms. JD Hurst is no longer a brand. Phew! I'm a person, y'all, not an entity. More importantly, I'm an author. Just one of the many that will soon fill the "shelves" of the newly renamed (rebranded) Bookly Blessed!
I love the new name y'all! I have heard my parents and everyone really, say "We are richly blessed", my whole life. I love the play on that statement and feel the truth of being richly blessed with books. I hope y'all enjoy the word play too!
Also, of note, my first ever podcast will be out on YouTube on 5 January 2024! This will be a monthly podcast at minimum, and I am aiming for weekly if y'all enjoy it and want to listen.
Additionally, Ms. JD Hurst, the author, will be participating in the Weekend Market at Arbor Park in San Antonio, Texas THIS weekend, 6 January! I'm happy and excited to meet new readers and sign the books they buy if they would like.
14 January 2024 - I will have come full circle in my Texas life. I will have a book signing table at Yellow Rose Artisan Market in Seguin, Texas where I began my life as a Texan (even if only an imported one). I am so excited to return to my beginning. I just wish Mama was here to experience it with me. Next best thing though. My Honeybear will be my market partner which will make it so much fun!
Okay, that's a lot of moving parts right out of the gate in 2024. Hit me up if y'all want me to participate in your local markets, fairs or festivals.
