About the Author

I am a Christian Romance Author. My characters aren't typical. My heroines march boldly to the beat of their own drum, my heroes are strong enough to love them. My characters avoid the typical and "normal". They are strong, brave and learn how to love deeply. They let God heal them, grow them and love them.

My beautiful mother instilled the love of reading in all four of her children and I have been telling myself the stories I create as long as I can remember, putting the first one on paper when I was a heartbroken 16-year-old. Through the years, I have put another fifty stories down on paper, many written by hand with an ink pen. Some of those stories are still waiting to be modernized and digitized, but others have disappeared through accidental deletion.

I have never forgotten the love stories I have written and am even now trying to get them all onto a platform that is easy to use in today's day and age. Animals, the outdoors and unconventional families will often fill the pages of my books. I am excited to write the love stories rolling through my mind like a movie and I hope and pray that you will be excited to read them. I try to ensure that though my stories are all fictional, details within are factual in that I research and determine if something can actually happen the way I write them.

Many of the activities and events described in my books are based on personal experience or that of people in my life. I strive to avoid being too preachy while also sharing the strength and joy garnered from a personal relationship with Jesus. My life experience ranges from riding rodeo bulls as a 17-year-old High School girl to being a wife, mother, soldier and professional event planner. My resume reads more like a book in and of itself as I have always jumped at opportunities to try something new. Though I tend to lean more toward what I know well, I am not afraid to interview a professional in a field I am unfamiliar with and go from there. I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet and befriend hundreds of people around the world through our military travels and many of my characters will bear resemblance to some of those beautiful babies from the inside out.
